AIRPORT 2040 / VISION OF THE AIRPORT IN THE FUTURE

Behind this vision is a group of eight graduate students from five different countries taking up the challenge of inventing the airport of the future. This challenge was commissioned by EADS Innovation Works, as part of ME310, a Stanford University’s Design Innovation course, that we took through our respective universities: Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (France) and Hasso Plattner Institut (Germany). Our findings were featured by EADS/Airbus at The Paris Air Show 2011 and presented at Stanford Design EXPE.
